Oct 24, 2016Yes, I totally read a cookbook. Cover to cover. In one sitting.
March 12, 2017When the recipes are accurate, the food is great. However, the book has numerous errors including missing ingredients, messed up instructions, and incorrect amounts of ingredients.
June 12, 2018The recipes are interesting but there's no "original pages" download
May 18, 2017This is an odd one. It's not a good cookbook, but on the other hand, it's not the bad one. Same thing with World of Warcraft licensed product. Always in the middle, not good, not bad.
October 30, 2017This book is a must have for fans of World of Warcraft. It makes a unique gift idea. Great for hosting Warcraft-themed dinner parties! Highly recommended.Full Review
Aug 05, 2018What a fun way to make your video games come to life! Love this book and my husband made some of the wonderful dishes in it.
Nov 14, 2016So I couldn't help myself when I saw that World of Warcraft was making a cookbook. I bought it and well it looks pretty and plenty of the recipes are recognisable from the book. however some have had their name changed due to the ingrediens and this made me a bit upset. If it is a WoW cookbook, keep it a WoW cookbook and dont make stuff up on the way. Why? We who buy it know this stuff from the game.
Aug 07, 2017Lok'tar, my culinary friends! I was surprised how fun this book is and how well the author has translated Azeroth's recipes into Earth recipes. Several of them will be served at my house, for sure.
Jan 15, 2017This was a fun coffee table book to thumb through.
Dec 13, 2017Okay, I honestly didn't mean to put a cookbook on my read-list. But after coincidentally stumbling across its GoodReads page and reading some of those reviews, I just had to write a short one myself. Because really. How dumb can people be.
Apr 14, 2018I pre-ordered this cookbook and have made multiple recipes as well as tried all of the spice blends. I will admit upfront that I'm a huge fan of World of Warcraft, and I'm decently proficient in the kitchen, so your personal mileage might vary despite me giving this a 5-star review.
Jul 31, 2017Translating this one was partially fun and partially painful. Fun because the usual restrictions of translating WoW names were cut loose. I could combine English and Czech however I wanted. On the other hand, the texts repeat so much (what a surprise in a coobook). It's not a mistake of course, but sometimes it was difficult for me. Despite this, I must say that Monroe-Cassel wrote a fine WoW book. You can actually feel the magic of Warcraft in this one. The easter eggs are well-used. Feb 28, 2019It was hard to believe that a cook book inspired in a game will have good recipes. I am trying slowly all the recipes and I am not disappointed.
Dec 18, 2018A delightful, thoughtful offering
Jan 22, 2017Nearly everything in this book looks delicious (not a big fan of seafood in general). While I did play Warcraft for a little while it wasn't long enough for any of the foods to make a big impression on me. My husband, however, has played almost continually for a very long time and he vouches for the fact that they are accurate, at least as far a possible for 'imaginary' foods.
Jun 23, 2018The whole family has been enjoying the recipes from this book. I gave my husband a mortar and pestle so he can properly make the spice blends and he has been having a good time of it. We are keeping track of all the recipes we make from it. We enjoy the format, interesting flavors, and variety of this book.
Dec 14, 2018Don’t have to be a fan of the game for this cookbook
Nov 01, 2017Super good looking eats. Some of it looks funky, but the most things were delicious. I am planning on making a decent amount of items out of this. I'm especially looking forward to making Kungaloosh. <3
Sep 30, 2018With little blurbs giving a "background story" to each recipe, this was a fun way of turning in-game food into real-world equivalencies. I am definitely going to be trying a few, and I love this trend of making real dishes out of entertainment-based food.
Aug 03, 2019A fun take on the food of the world of Warcraft. And it all looks delicious!
May 01, 2019Got some good recipies in here from the Game World of Warcraft.
Jun 01, 2017Had a little fun with this. It is good for thumbing through. Three of us spent about 5 minutes each on it before returning to the local Biblio.
Dec 26, 2018Love this cookbook! The recipes are really unique and have pushed my boundaries in cooking. They have all been delicious.
Jul 24, 2018I love the fry bread recipe. It is simple and easy to whip up anytime. The rest of the recipes look appetizing and I hope to try some in the future.
Nov 04, 2019This is my favorite cookbook. The recipes are delicious and unique.
