Piaget for dummies, very very poorly condensed. Chapter 7 on stress not only contains many factual errors but it's downright dangerous. Chapter 8 on intelligence seems to have been lifted directly from the bell curve. I had no idea you could get a PhD in developmental psychology from Kmart.Apr 07, 2018
Wow, this is horribly written. Go for the regular Wonder Weeks book instead.Jan 05, 2019
One of the only baby books I’ll recommend. Read it in conjunction with The wonder weeks.Sep 29, 2016
I thought it would have different information from the Wonder Weeks book, but it's just a really stripped down version of the authors' other book written in a Q&A format. Two stars for some useful charts regarding, e.g., typical age ranges for hitting gross motor milestones. The original Wonder Weeks book is excellent; buy that instead and don't bother with this one.Take your time and choose the perfect book.
