Aug 03, 2019Full of so many fun facts and so much that is important when sewing on a machine. It will be great for quick reference while I continue to play around
Jan 22, 2012I think I'd be better able to review this if I had a project going which required using a special foot. As it is, I can only judge the book on a few things, but not necessarily on how useful it is.
Jul 01, 2014This is great for visual learners. The pictures are actual color photographs, including types of fabric, different threads, and examples for the different stitches and use of machine parts.
Jun 13, 2013I will be adding this book to my sewing reference library. Great explanations and offers different uses for the different feet you may purchase for your machine.
Nov 13, 2012Great information if you are wanting to learn about all the different feet for your sewing machine! The infomation really opens up ideas on new projects to try using the various feet.
Apr 10, 2014This is EXACTLY what I was looking for to explore my new machine!
May 28, 2012Excellent source and reference guide to get the most out of the variety of sewing machine accessories.
Mar 28, 2016Super helpful guide to many of the various sewing machine feet available, and it gives project ideas for each foot discussed. A handy reference book for my sewing library!

Jan 21, 2012646.2044 Gardiner 06/2011 olpl.I have been looking at new sewing machines..this is excellent for someone who just starting or better yet for someone like me who has been sewing since 1960!Illustrations are clear, photo, and easy reading with clear examples.
Dec 27, 2013had to turn it back in before i got to look at it thoroughly, though mostly it's a bit advanced for the projects i've been working on. i have no doubt, however, that it is a great resource and i look forward to taking another look at it at some point!
Feb 23, 2012Great pictures! Simple instructios! Easy reference! Reading this book makes me feel like I can do any sewing project without having to sign up for a class because most tasks simply require understanding the tools. I just got a new machine and although I have been sewing simple projects for years, the machine mastery class and the tips in this book are making my projects more fun and exciting!
Jun 24, 2014Close-up photos help you identify all the little feet that came with your machine, plus how to use them. There's a very large selection of feet included and I discovered that many of the feet I have are going to be very useful for dressmaking. A good reference book but you're not likely to use most of the specialty feet. On the other hand, you may see a foot, decide you like what it does, then go out and buy one to play around with!
Feb 17, 2017simplistic but there are some creative ideas for using the presser feet mentioned.
Jan 23, 2019An essential book for any serious sewer. Has all sorts of practical information not easily found elsewhere. As soon as I returned my copy to the library, I bought my own for easy reference.
Mar 13, 2018.
Mar 14, 2019I checked out this book from the library and found it so helpful that I bought a copy for myself! I have been sewing since childhood but found many interesting facts about sewing machine accessory feet that I did not know. This will be my 'go to' book in the sewing room, it is a great reference book for novice and experienced sewers!
Feb 04, 2019I recently received a set of presser feet for my sewing machine and this book. I decided to read through the book first to give me an idea of what different feet are used for. It was very eye opening! I had no idea a sewing machine could do so much by just attaching different feet. Obviously higher end machines are easier to use, but this book showed me a lot can be done with the right accessories and imagination.
Dec 30, 2018A great resource for any sewer. It doesn't matter what level you are at this is a great resource for what machine feet will work for your project. I know my machine can't use all the feet in this book but they usually provide alternatives options if you can't use that foot. They also provide a nice introduction to some items that will be essential to smooth sewing. I now have a list of items that I want to buy.
May 12, 2018If like me, you love sewing but feel you're not quite getting the best from your sewing machine, then this book is for you.
