Originally read this book as a newlywed and picked it up again in February as part of a study I was doing. Always good to pray for your husband, but a little turned off by some "name it and claim it" type prayers sprinkled throughout. Good idea, though, praying for your husband, that is.

This pocket-size book is great for carrying around with you and finding pockets (pun intended) of time in the day to pray for your husband. Stormie's book by the same title is a great resource for encouraging wives to pray intentionally and specifically for their husbands and each chapter ends with a prayer focusing on that particular topic in the chapter (finances, direction in life decisions, health, etc). My husband listens to the spirit of God so we see God moving in his life as well. I have to tell you that my first husband did not listen to the Spirit of God and divorced me. My goal after that was to marry a man after God's heart. God does amazing things in our hearts when we pray and listen. Great book.

I highly recommend this book to every married woman, regardless of the status of their relationship. I have read this book in it's entirety and because I reread these powerful prayers so often, it stays on my nightstand. Stormie Omartian is an excellent author and it is evident that she has been Blessed with a God given talent. Mrs. Omartian has a way of helping you see your husband, as well as yourself, through God's eyes. Whatever the situation, I always find the perfect prayers and I highly recommend this book to every married woman, regardless of the status of their relationship. I enjoyed this book very much. I find that guided praying enhances my prayer life, and I especially enjoyed the privilege of praying specifically for my husband. The book uses scripture, also, which goes along with the prayer for the day. Recommend.

Important read for all wives!

This book radically changed my life many years ago. Since then, I have never missed a day praying for my husband. I highly encourage all wives to read this book and be inspired to participate in God's work of transforming not only our husbands, but ourselves.

Great book, helps you to pray for your husband rather than nag or criticize! The first chapter is probably the most important :) I often use it as a devotional as it has 31 chapters, can pray a chapter a day.

Fabulous book. Really gives you insight into things husbands struggle with that wives do not. I pray this book almost every single day (a chapter a day) and I see a real difference in my husband when I continually pray for him.

I read this book in a small group of women. We were living in Kansas. I didn't really like this book too much. The style was off for me. It has some great info on praying for your spouse. Absolutely a great premise...just didn't like the way it read.

Excellent Book, I have recommended to many friends

Overall excellent prayers for all areas.
It makes you to want to continue read chapter after chapter. When I first started reading I felt so excited about coming to continue reading and I felt my prayer were being answered. It is amazing..

This book has kept me from being a nagging wife instead of bickering I turn to this book and believe God in prayer. I'm a witness that prayer works and the way this book breaks down every circumstance that could occur in ones union its a God sent and is very helpful in helping a wife facilitate a precise and effective prayer life over her husband

I loved this! The prayers are not long but there’s definitely depth and are scripture-based. Good place to start and to build upon!

Definitely loved many of the prayers suggested in this volume. Some I will use for other friends or family besides my husband, as well as for him. Won't use them all, but certainly some good ones.
