physical challenges.

THE HEALING CODE
is
your healing kit for life--to reover from the issues you know about, and
repair the ones you don't. The book also includes:
  • The Seven
Secrets of life, health, and prosperity
  • The 10-second Instant
Impact technique for defusing daily stress
  • The Heart Issues
Finder, the only test that identifies your source issues in a succinct
    personalized report.
Dr. Alex Loyd discovered how to
activate a physical function built into the body that consistently and
predictably removes the source of 95% of all illness and disease so that
the neuro-immune system takes over its job of healing whatever is wrong
with the body. His findings were validated by tests and by the
thousands of people from all over the world who have used The Healing
Code's system to heal virtually any physical, emotional, or relational
issue, as well as realize breakthroughs in success.
His testing
also revealed that there is a "Universal Healing Code" that will heal
most issues for most people. In this book you will get that Universal
Healing Code, which takes only minutes to do.

Rather than write a review, I will post the handout that I've written for my therapy clients:

Stress Pressure Points

Use these when bothered by negative emotions, such as fear, worry, anger, stress. They lower the body’s stress level, and also allow you to rewrite your subconscious beliefs that cause stress (the issues of the heart).

Stress Pressure Points

Use these when bothered by negative emotions, such as fear, worry, anger, stress. They lower the body’s stress level, and also allow you to rewrite your subconscious beliefs that cause stress (the issues of the heart).

Stress Pressure Points
1. Bridge of the nose (between eyebrows)
2. Neck (Adam’s apple)
3. Point of the jaw (on each side, at the same time)
4. Temples (on each side, at the same time)

Do pressure points with fingertips (both hands, all fingers at the same time) for about 30 seconds each. Repeat if desired. You can do them several times a day; the authors recommend 6 minute sessions, three times a day. You can lightly touch the pressure points, lightly tap them, or hold the fingertips a couple inches above the pressure point, according to the authors.

Affirmations: While doing the pressure points, repeat to yourself the truths (or affirmations) that you want to believe about yourself, that you are having a hard time believing. Usually these will be the opposite of whatever problems you are having. For example, if you are having a hard time feeling motivated, the opposite truth would be, “I can get this done.” Positively worded truths are more powerful than ones containing a “not” in them (such as, “I won’t procrastinate”). Also be sure that you aren’t lying to yourself. “Everything will be okay” might not be true. But “I can handle this, I can make it through this” is much more likely to be true. Here are some more examples:

1. I can love and care for others
2. I can feel joy
3. I can do hard things
4. It wasn’t my fault
5. I am loved and accepted
6. People will be there for me
7. My needs will be met
8. I’m a good person
9. People can forgive me for my mistakes

Core Beliefs: Some psychologists suggest that problems with self-esteem usually come down to the core questions of “Am I loveable, am I capable, and am I worthy?” If you believe this may be true for you, a suggested truth statement would be, “I am loveable, I am capable, and I am worthy.” An alternative to the last part would be, “I am forgivable, and I can forgive others.” The authors have observed that working on issues of forgiveness often helps resolve other issues of the heart (by releasing subconscious negative beliefs that cause stress).

If you aren’t sure what truths to focus on, you can also think about a time when you have felt very loved.

Results: This technique was researched for 6 years before the results were published. Stress tests with this technique have shown that it dramatically lowers the heart stress level. Benefits are still observable more than a week after use. Reported results range from dramatic immediate improvements in symptoms and beliefs about oneself, to gradual improvement over the course of a year of doing the technique.

Source: Adapted from Loyd, A., & Johnson, B. (2010). The healing code. New York: Grand Central Life & Style.

Chart: Track your results (rate how you felt before and after doing the technique, between 1 and 10; 1 = great). The authors recommend using the technique consistently until you are down to a 1 on teh main issue that is bothering you.

After his arrogant claim, it's about 200 pages of how great he is and testimonials until he actually gets to the code. The book slyly disses yoga, but then one part of 'the code' is breath of fire, taken directly from Kundalini yoga.

The author calls it "Power Breathing." He didn't pay to keep that phrase.

When the book FINALLY gets to the code, after 200 pages of ...oh boy, this will work, God gave this to me... it's a lo-fi version of EFT mixed with slight EMDR and a ultra lo-fi pass of prana techniques.

Bypass this book and go directly to something like "Code of Joy" or others that explain the new research of cellular healing and how it has been here all along and the amazing results you can find from tapping.

If God gave this to Alexander, he was punishing him for not doing the research already all around us and is probably very shocked that Alexander pulled a book deal out of it.

Well, the right platform can get most people published, and God is good platform. I'm surprised God didn't blurb the book.

Yes, I had to read the whole book because after page 5 it turned into an excellent parody of an actual self-help book. It's worth the read if you use that as the context.

Energy is everything and everything boils down to energy

The main point: All illness boils down to an accumulation of heart junk. I can attest to this being one of the worst things a person can hear when they get sick. The implication that my current health downward spiral is more or less somehow [not consciously] my fault? Yeah, eat a dick. But, also, goddammit, it fits. If I take an honest look at when exactly my health problems started, there were not just one but a number of very extreme situational stresses I was going through at the time. These fitting realizations made me pick the infomercial-like book back up again to see what it was getting to. Damn (or thank goodness for) my curiosity.

I was utterly turned off at the cheeseball lowest common denominator way it's written. BUT it does have significant scientific merits/is rooted in quantum physics with ideas that I do believe could be truly invaluable. So let me get back to you with a true review of this once I've given a fair shot at balancing my bio-energetic systems. Mmk?

This was a firstreads winner.

I haven't finished it yet, but I definitely have a few thoughts.

It reads like a long infomercial. There's a lot of hype, lots of grandiose claims, liberals sprinklings of testimonials and fantastic anecdotal success, but it mostly seems in the service of selling or pushing some product (so far they aren't clear on exactly what). I'm over 100 pages in and I'm finding I wish I could read on double speed just to get through it. If their codes actually work as advertised, more power to them, but it seems contradictory that the thing reads like an advertisement given the story they're telling and their supposed motivation to help heal everyone. In the end I guess I'll forgive them that if they actually include strong/useful content, but so far I think it would be greatly improved by abridgment

One thing that's bothering me is the supposed scientific basis. They keep patting themselves on the back about how physics and other scientific precepts support their procedures, but the physics is wrong (My degrees are in physics). The physics parts reads like a student essay from a beginning conceptual physics class: they seem to have been there and they're throwing around plausible language and concepts, but they don't seem to have actually understood what they're talking about. As far as I can tell some of their biology/medicine is similarly shaky, but that's not my area of expertise. (for example, they argue that a double blind study is only necessary to eliminate the placebo effect, and since the placebo effect isn't possible with their codes, studies are unnecessary). They scientific rigor is weak or lacking, and it definitely isn't what I'd expect from authors with the credentials they're claiming (MD and double PhD). It seems like they're using a lot of unfounded scientific claims and techno-babble to build credibility, to what end I'm not yet sure but if I had to guess I'd say they're looking to make a lot of money(I expect that part will come at the end).

So far I would argue that the healing codes are more in the realm of metaphysics than physics (though it's hard to tell because they haven't actually given that much information yet). In my mind that's perfectly valid. I don't even mind combining the two as long as it is done appropriately, since I myself am a person of faith as well as science, but to claim a misapplied scientific basis does disservice to both. ...more

To be clear: I am not giving the actual idea of the healing code 1 star--I think meditation is great, focused meditation is great and love is great. I am giving this ridiculous book 1 star. I bought the book with a very skeptical mind. I expected some "power of positive thinking" or prosperity gospel mumbo jumbo, and was instead surprised with a scientifically supported, divinely inspired healing system. I think everyone could benefit from this book, but you have to come with an open mind and a little bit of desperation. It sounds too good to be true, and apart from the power of Jesus Christ, I think it probably is. I believe that God is going to bring healing to me physically, emotionally and spiritually, and I think He is going to use "The Healing Code" system, in part, to do so. I highly recommend this book. ...more

This is, hands down, the best book I have ever read. This book has helped me change more things in my life in the last seven days then any other book has done before. This book has helped me change more things in my life in the last seven days then any other book has done before. Reading the Bible, alone, has not given me this much change. It lines up with the Bible and science. It focuses on addressing the spiritual issues of the heart. The authors do a great job of explaining how these spiritual issues of the heart actually affect our health, relationships and performance in our careers and other areas of life. They explain how the issues of the heart (memories in the subconscious mind) affect the cells in the body. The material in the book is very informative and compelling. However, the greatest benefit of this book is putting it into practice and watching the results line up with exactly what it says in the book. I must admit that, although I was very excited about what I read, I was not 100% positive that I would get the results touted in the book. However, in doing the exercises exactly as it says consistently, I have gotten phenomenal results. I have been able to change things I have wrestled with in my life for decades. And this was done without me directly trying to change these things. Changes have actually been effortless as I focused on doing the exercises. It has been like peeling the layers off of an onion. I am recalling things that I have not remembered in over 30 years. But the book doesn't leave you there. It actually uses these memories to transform your mind and body. I have not only noticed changes in the weight I think, but my body is actually feeling much better. I'm a lot more calm and my body feels a lot more balanced.

In reading some of the reviews on this book, the only thing I would say is that in order to get the results spoken of in the book, the person really should read the book thoroughly and understand the theory before jumping in and dabbling with the Techniques. Additionally, it is very important to be consistent. It has been very clear in reading some of the reviews that those who have had negative things to say about the book may have not done their due diligence before giving up on the material. Some of the things written in the reviews are in direct contradiction to what the book teaches.

So all I would say is if you want to have a changed life, read, understand and do what this book says.

When you register your book, you will have access to free open forum calls where you can ask any question you would like answered. I was on this call last night and it was extremely helpful. They will answer any questions you may have about the book and system and give you practical help in using the program. This is all free.

Lastly, one thing I found very unique about this book. The authors actually said that if we did not get results from the book, that we should contact them. I've never read a book where the author has said that if you don't get results to CONTACT THEM. That speaks volumes. I've not had to call them yet. ...more

His findings were validated by tests and by the thousands of people from all over the world who have used The Healing Codes system to heal virtually any physical, emotional, or relational issue, as well as realize breakthroughs in success.

His testing also revealed that there is a "Universal Healing Code" that will heal most issues for most people. In this book you will get that Universal Healing Code, which takes only minutes to do. The book also includes:

The Seven Secrets of life, health, and prosperity. The 10-second Instant Impact technique for defusing daily stress. This book has been in my book review container for a few weeks. A large tarp material like blue square bin I keep in my bedroom. I was not sure if I wanted to read another self help book again. Even though I asked to review it it seemed to hang in the balance. This past week I received a wake up call that my one brother has to have a whole kidney removed, that the doctors found a tumor. As I trudged through my books to do the next review. I pulled The Healing Code out and thought about my brother. This book made so many connections for me it was unreal. I have always pondered why when a transplant is done the recipient seems to take on the feeling and tastes of the donor. I have studied and read for years now about how our bodies are made up of energy and have many interests in quantum physics. I still could not place my self into thinking it could be so simple as a 6 minute exercise to heal or mind or body or both.

The Healing Code however brought all those books I have read together, it all makes sense to me now. Like other times while reading a self help book I told myself you must not jump ahead, and I didn't. I was left with a feeling of unreality, yet wanting so badly to believe this book. Unreality because we are so tuned to think that a pill could help us or take care of an ailment, that this simple technique couldn't possibly just do all it claims. Yet just as this book explains there are so many pills that seem to work, yet the physicians and even the pharmaceutical companies who manufacture them have no idea how or why they do. Why do we believe a chemical will work for us in our body when it is nothing but basically a poisonous substance mixed in a lab when you really think about it. Then trails are done and results made public and the pills manufactured. Only to find out 10 years later it helped the depression but now the liver is half dead from the poison. Why is it that something so simple as this technique can leave us feeling like we are complete idiots if we even believe we should give it a try? Well I decided to give it a try and not only for my health but for the health of my brother and other family members.

As I read this book I thought about all the people in my life that could benefit from this technique. My uncle, sister, husband and even my 9 year old son. I thought about my brother how maybe he would think I had lost my mind when I decide to present this to him. Then again if you are told you have cancer wouldn't any one of us do anything and everything in our power to find a cure for ourselves. I at this point didn't care what he might think. The Healing Code explains some things I already knew about our unconscious and conscious minds. However it goes into more detail with that and explains on how we hold these memories which cause our immune systems to shut down. I couldn't begin to even explain this. All I can say is this book is a book everyone should read. You lose nothing by doing these exercises in the privacy of your own home, not even your pride.

I have received a complimentary copy of THE HEALING CODE for review and have not been compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed above are solely my own.

Even though I have studied various alternative methods, Reiki, Polarity, yoga, meditation, etc., I found it hard to believe that this simple energy technique could work. This is a review of the book, not the healing method.
Ironically, exactly because I believe the method most likely works and because I wanted to actually try it myself, I found the way this book is written very irritating. And I even have pretty high tolerance threshold!

Ironically, exactly because I believe the method most likely works and because I wanted to actually try it myself, I found the way this book is written very irritating. And I even have pretty high tolerance threshold!

I find it apparent that anyone who sat down to read this book would have at least a slight tendency to believe such a thing may work - then why spend half of the book on repeating the same concept over & over again? Even if the readers didn’t believe it at all, why would you think that repeating the same thing over 150 extra pages will convince them more? It just doesn’t make sense.
And not to mention the fact that you have to go register somewhere online in order to get as essential an information as what you’re supposed to think of while doing the code... Really?! Are you kidding me? After all the repetition you’ve put me through, you can’t spare 2 more pages to clarify the very thing that may cost me the success of the whole operation? Wow

In short (positive aspect) - if you got this book with the idea to understand & apply the healing method I suggest the following productive approach: read the first 30% of the book to get how it works & what it’s about, then skip the next about 150 pages (unless you need repetition of what you’ve just read) and jump to chapter 10: the 2 pages with the drawings & the steps of how to do the code. There you will notice it is merely mentioned that while doing the actual code you should be thinking of some “truth statements” that you can only find online. Those “truth statements” are actually any positive sentences that affirm what is listed in the next chapter as healthy alternatives of “the 12 problems of the heart”. So just finish the book & then shape your own positive affirming sentences to think of while doing the codes. Or, if you don’t mind the bother, go online to check their samples of such sentences.

P.S. Maybe part of the reason I am so critical towards the structure of this book is the fact that I've read a self-healing book before, thanks to which I managed to improve my eyesight. Based on that experience I have a certain mental model of how such a book should be structured in order to convey in an effective way the information you need to succeed with the method. Something “The Healing Code” failed to do in my opinion. I’m sorry but it is completely unproductive to keep essential information out of the book & instead spend half of the content on repeating how miraculous the method is and how it works - yes, you masked it under catchy titles but it’s still the same concept that for some reason you chose to stretch over 150 extra pages. Maybe the publishers forced you to make a longer book, who knows :D
But if anyone involved in the creation of this book ever reads this and has the opportunity to - please, do the world a favor and review the book, include ALL essential information in it, cut the repeating to make the book twice shorter and republish it. I think this way you’ll have better chances winning those sceptics & not losing those believers who are likely to abandon a potentially life saving information just because it is not presented well. ...more

Has some good points.

But too often claims originality and uniqueness when it is painfully obvious it has no right to claim either.

Add to that the emphasis on christianity and...

this is a book that I felt like throwing at the wall... more than once.

Even though I feel like my rating is one star (did not like it), I will give it two stars simply because some of the theory is worth reading just to get a different perspective on Energy Healing.

What if we can erase negative emotions, financial problems and health issues by using a simple technique like the healing codes? It is very compelling and many people swear by these techniques. It basically explains how all illness is caused by stress unconsciously trapped in the body from traumatic events in one's life and how the cells have cellular memories that keep these memories trapped inside your body and it puts you in fight or flight mode which shuts down your immune system and your ability to fight off diseases. As a result after awhile the body starts to breakdown and illness sets in. There is also lots of scientific research and prove that this is very real and to be taken seriously. Plus, there are many examples of people with serious issues who benefited greatly from learning and applying the Healing Codes. I can't recommend this book enough. It really helps you to understand why people get sick and also why they self-sabotage their relationships and their success. Very eye-opening material that every human being should know about. ...more

I have read several self-help types of books. I did find this book helpful in some ways, but I am a bit skeptical about The Healing Code itself. I can see that meditation and prayer are helpful and have used some of these methods before, but not like this.

Pros - Prayer and meditation are beneficial in reducing stress of all kinds which help the body to heal. I find all of these statements to be true.

Cons - My skepticism comes in by how it is written. It is very repetitive in a salesman way. The I have read several self-help types of books. Unsure - I am still unsure about the idea of the metaphysical aspects of the hand positions used during the Healing Code. This book talks about body frequencies and resetting the body. I have personally done several things which actually use cool touch lasers to send the right healing frequencies to the body. We used these methods on Marlayna with fantastic results. So, I am not saying all of this is bogus. I am unsure that simple hand positioning with visualization and self-actualization statements can do the same result as actual frequency transmissions. If it is so simple...then this would be miraculous.

Anyway, I decided the meditation and prayer aspects can't hurt, so I am giving it a try. ...more

Tea: Superb flavor, with subtle undertones
Overall, despite a few flaws, this is a must have for anyone wanting more from their life, especially their health. A wonderful book to help unblock you from the inner gunk (internal negative baggage) you've been carrying around in your subconscious mind, that you're probably not even aware of.

Overall, despite a few flaws, this is a must have for anyone wanting more from their life, especially their health. A wonderful book to help unblock you from the inner gunk (internal negative baggage) you've been carrying around in your subconscious mind, that you're probably not even aware of.
I've felt stuck for years, along with my Parent's. And we've gone through a few self help programs, as well as other energy routines, and other codes (Quantum Techniques) and yet we can't seem to open the flood gates for a better life. Now why is that? If we assume, we're not idiots, why can't we change our lives? So I've been asking this question, and haven't found answers.
I just happened to go into our Doc's (Chiropractor) with several health issues, one that I have been struggling with for a year and the other several months, and he recommended this book to us. He's recommended other routines for us to try, I thought, "Why not." It was when he told us to stop doing all the other codes and energy routines, things I've been doing for years, that shocked me! He said, "Focus on this [the book and routines contained in it]."
So we bought the book, having known nothing else about it, and having heard nothing about it from anyone else we started.
Since I'm familiar with Applied Kinesiology, and Energy Medicine, the concepts and discoveries in this book were not a shock to me. Though there were two shockers for me in this book (I leave you to uncover your own).
I've had small trinkets of baggage from my subconscious come out, that according to testing with Applied Kinesiology, had a direct correlation to health issues I have struggled with in the past. And those trinkets, totally shocked me at the time, because consciously, I had no idea they were even an issue (having gone through numerous exercises in book's like "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay and others). In fact if you had gone through a list with me, of my baggage, and asked me consciously, if I still had an issue with such-and-such, I would have consciously said, "No."
I wasn't surprised, in general, by the overall message: Heal your Heart and you can Heal your Life
The flaws, I wasn't a fan of the layout of the book, the switching back and forth between the two authors was distracting (relates more to poor layout), testimonials should have been threaded more through out the book (flaw in layout), I wish they could have left the more personal religious beliefs and left it more spiritual or open ended and leave the reader to fill in the blank thus making it more acceptable to people who are not religious, they should have cited every study they brought up in the book in footnotes and had a Bibliography (to back up their sources and allow those who want more information to go directly to the original source), and the Index in the back should have been triple the size to allow for easy reference for the reader.
As far as where I am with the new routine? I'm currently just over two weeks into the program, doing the Code routines 3 x a day, along with my Parent's (who have different issues in health and mental states then I do). During the first week, we started with the generic Codes, listed on pg. 217. And noticed, within 24 hours, we all felt and acted happier, and two of us had a sort of brain fog or mental numbness. During the first week, two of us had headaches, and one of us got cold-like symptoms. Then after a week of the generic codes, our Doc, gave us a copy of the specific codes that target each Heart Issue (listed on pg. 240). These codes, are from "The Healing Code Manual", which is not in the book because it is a separate purchase (the cost $200-700 can be broken down into smaller three payment programs) are a turbo charged program, that if you can afford it (maybe go in with a few people) I surmise (since I don't own the whole program yet) would be worth the purchase at some point (though just starting on the generic code is a great place to begin for everyone). The second week, one of us got really angry, which I found interesting, but it seemed to pass within a few days.
My health issues have gotten better, though I can't give credit to the Codes because I started back on a bunch of nutritional supplements I had been off of for several months. What I can attribute to the Healing Codes, is an inner peace that I did not achieve with a bottle (glass or plastic), I'm laughing more, and all the things that used to stress me out are not nearly as overwhelming as they had been. My Parent's are happier, laughing more, and not so stressed out.
Our lives have not changed, the stress is still looming over us, our reaction to it has reduced by at least 50% or more, which is quite extraordinary (and we are not doing anything else differently in our lives other then the new Healing Codes routines). From doing a simple, almost too simple routine that consists of saying a prayer (or request if you're not a believer in prayers) and placing our hands on specific areas of our body for a certain amount of time.
Try it out for 30 days. This may seem like the dumbest thing ever. I don't know about you, but I'm more hungry for change in my life, then I am about doing something I think is dumb or isn't going to work. And at this point I really don't have anything else to loose. ...more

If there is a deeper conscious or unconscoius emotional connection to your illness or physical ailment, this book seeks to address it using a specific self-healing meditation+energy practice. Most of the book is the scientific reasoning, testimonial accounts, or justification behind doing the actual practice. If you already believe in the power of meditation, affirmations, and reiki/energy work, you can just skip to the actual Healing Code technique and start practicing it. The description of the actual "Healing Code" is really no more than 5 pages. If you've never done meditation or energy work, or are hesitant that it might be in conflict with your Christian beliefs, than you'll be reassured that the writers emphasize over and over how this is in line with their Christian beliefs. As an agnostic, I didn't need any of this religious reassurance, but I could tell that it was an important part of their presenting the material.

What this book lacks are the more specific "truth focus statements" (in most other circles, known as positive affirmations) that people could be using during their practicing of the Healing Code technique to reinforce "cancelling out the negative thought patterns". It does state that you have access to them when you register with the online website, but you still have to track down the content you want, rather than it being given to you once you register. The other piece that might be helpful, which is only available online, is the "Heart Issues Finder"- which could help give you an area to focus on, or just reassurance that you're already in a healthy emotional place. I would actually suggest taking the "Heart Issues Finder" BEFORE reading the book or trying the codes so that you have a point of focus going into it.

I think this particular book could be improved by embedding more actual examples or case studies (rather than just the testimonials) of what people had, what their "cellular images" were, and what "truth focus statements" they used in their practice, as well as how they accomplished their practice and in what amount of time things changed for them. I think presenting a broader spectrum of actual examples in practice would help readers visualize how to get the most out of their own practice. Like any meditation or energy work, it only works if you practice it regularly. ...more

When asked to read and review The Healing Code by Dr. Alexander Loyd and Dr. Ben Johnson, I was intrigued. The book cover reads “6 Minutes to Heal the Source of Your Health, Success or Relationship Issue.” I am like everyone else – looking for the “quick fix” so I told the publisher to send me a copy and eagerly watched the mail for the book.

Loyd and Johnson are Christian physicians who have written a book based on scientific research. In Part One of the book, the authors discuss the “Seven Secrets to Life, Health and Prosperity.” Part Two is “The Solutions to Healing Virtually Any Health, Relationship or Success Issue.” The basic premise is that all illnesses are caused by stress and all stress is caused by issues of the heart. Resolve the issues of the heart and relieve the stress by using the healing codes and your illness, whatever it may be, will be healed. It’s not quite that simple and the book gives many more details about the process.
Not only do Loyd and Johnson back up their theory with research, but they also include statements from a number of people who have gone through this process and testify of their healing. They also firmly state that the healing codes are not to replace any medical treatment the participant may be taking, and they include a one-page disclaimer and informed consent.

I found this book to be challenging. The authors have mixed Christian beliefs with medical and scientific research and facts and I have yet to decide whether or not I agree with their findings. In all fairness, I have not performed the “healing codes.”

If you are interested in this type of study, this book is for you. Even if you’re not, but you are looking for a solution to your health issues, this book may be for you. You be the judge.

This book was given to me by Hatchette Book Group for the purpose of this review.

I first heard of this book through a monthly newsletter I receive from James Bruggeman. His initial excitement upon discovering the book convinced me I needed to read it. So I bought a copy for my Kindle.

This book is easy to read, but it will challenge how you think because it presents an entirely new model of healing. It is not based on traditional medicine or even alternative health practices. It is based on the idea that we are energy and that stress is the cause of all illness.

The Healing Code itself is not presented until about 60% of the way through the book. All the material leading up to that point is intended to re-frame how you think about health. This is critical. Without any context or background information, The Healing Code will seem silly. It's only after you understand the foundational principles that The Healing Code makes sense.

I've only just finished reading the book today, so I've not begun using The Healing Code yet, but I plan to. And I'm eager to see what results I experience. ...more

This book is amazing and I honour the two doctors who worked to put this technique together and offer it to the general public. I have used the Healing Code for many different issues as well as with my clients and I have written, as a Writer, about its profound influence and effect on the human body, mind and Spirit! I was extremely ill and bedridden for an entire year from 2014-2015 with severe health issues, many that were undiagnosed by the medical profession. Someone suggested I get a copy of The Healing Code and I did which I have used ever since. It is nothing short of miraculous! Several things prompted my healing at this time, but this was surely a big part of it. I wrote a book during this time from my sickbed and now I am vibrant, alive, very well and healthy and happy!! I take no medications and live a very healthy natural lifestyle! Peace... ...more

This book was a recommendation from my chiropractor. It's all about being able to heal our own bodies with our own energy and how all illness is caused by stress. I am convinced that repeating mantras or affirmations greatly affects our well-being, and that directing those towards of centers of energy in the body should strengthen those statements even further. I do believe that this book delivers a worthwhile message. However, most of the book felt like an informercial, and it's constant proselytizing the Christian faith was, to me, a deterrent. Still, I am following the teaching because, after all, there's nothing to lose. I just use my own wording.

What was valuable to me, however, was to learn that every memory we have is stored as an image, and that many of our conducts stem from negative memories and false beliefs about ourselves. When we can connect with the original feeling or image that led to a false belief, we can delete it and start afresh. Just knowing that this is possible is powerful in itself.

As with The Emotion Code book by Dr. Bradley Nelson, The Healing Code is an adventure into the simplicity of healing. Think about God's design of the human being in His likeness. God is perfect. If we are like him, we are perfect too as long as we rid ourselves of the ego and our human bodies. Underneath, over, above, within our deepest selves lives our souls. Underneath, over, above, within our deepest selves lives our souls. That being said, the authors Alexander Loyd and Ben Johnson, explain through science and experience that memories are stored in our cells not in our brains. Consequently, negative and traumatic memories are stored in our cells thereby creating stress and disrupting the smooth flow of energy in our bodies. Loyd claims that using the healing code technique he describes and has had success with, we can potentially heal any health issue we may have. He adds a disclaimer, of course, that healing chronic illness like cancer and or rheumatoid arthritis, may be aided through nutrition and exercise along with the healing code.

"An amazing aspect of all this is that no Healing Code ever "treats" any health issues. The Healing Codes only address the 'issues of the heart' that Solomon wrote about more than 3,000 years ago . . ." Again, the theory behind the Healing Codes is the disruption of the energy system so when we straighten and smooth out that disruption, we allow our bodies to work properly to heal ourselves.

Between the Emotion Code, the Healing Code, and another theory I'm researching called the Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT--all of these techniques are based on the same principles and are supported by scientific research linking them to acupuncture points and meridians--I can honestly say from personal experience that once put into practice, one or a combination of all, work. For example, I have had a nagging lower back pain for many years. It's usually not enough to put me out of commission, just enough to let me know its there. Releasing trapped emotions and concentrating on my lower back, has relieved it so much that all I feel now can only be described as shadow pain. It's so used to hurting that it doesn't know what else to do.

If you are at all interested in your own ability to heal yourself, read The Healing Code with an open mind. Give it a try. In a few moments of your precious time, your own body can heal itself. All I can say is, psychotherapists and pharmaceutical companies beware. The more people tap into (pun intended) these techniques, the less dependent we will be on methods and pills outside of ourselves. ...more

One of the most informative and helpful books I have read in matters pertaining to improving ones' health and well-being. The authors suggest that the source of all illness of mind and body is "stress" - both the stresses we are aware of (conscious or circumstantial) and stresses which exist below our consciousness, but which nevertheless affect our behavior and well-being. The authors further suggest that physical and emotional illness or wellness is caused by the energies we generate (illness - low frequency and wellness - high frequency) which result from the stress (or lack of stress) we experience. The authors suggest that wellness occurs when there is a congruency between our "heart" (our real desires - whether good or bad) and our "mind" (our conscious desires and reason), and illness predominates when there is incongruency. Finally, the authors suggest that our life's experiences (positive and negative) are stored in the form of energy (memories) at the cellular level. An accumulation of negative memories (energies) can create false realities (we take as truth) which create the heart/mind incongruencies resulting in stress. Finally, the authors suggest the use of a Healing Code to "defrag" the negative energy in our cells much in the way a computer needs to be periodically defragged to be in optimal working condition. I have tested their Healing Code and have had some immediate, positive and astounding results in my life, which for me, validate the authors' conclusions. I found the Healing Code to be consistent with my religious beliefs. I highly recommend the book. ...more

I’ve suffered from chronic pain since the end of 2005 and I have tried literally EVERYTHING to rid myself of this horrendous pain. When I saw this book, I thought I’d give it a try and see what The Healing Code was all about.
Most of the book is spent exploring the Seven Secrets of Life, Health and Prosperity and most of it did resonate with me. The basic concept that I took away from these secrets was that stress is the root of all illness. Your body can only take so much stress and when it I’ve suffered from chronic pain since the end of 2005 and I have tried literally EVERYTHING to rid myself of this horrendous pain. Most of the book is spent exploring the Seven Secrets of Life, Health and Prosperity and most of it did resonate with me. The basic concept that I took away from these secrets was that stress is the root of all illness. Your body can only take so much stress and when it becomes too much to handle, the weakest part of you breaks. I KNOW this is what happened to me because I can remember the stress going on in my life back in 2005 when my current health issue began.
I found the book to drag a little bit and feel somewhat repetitive. As I was reading, I wanted it to pick up a little bit so I could discover what these Healing Codes were! I had to wait until Chapter Ten on page 217 to learn the 6 Minute “Universal Healing Code“. I was a little disappointed. It’s definitely unconventional and more on the metaphysical side. They ask you to focus on a traumatic memory and heal it. I felt overwhelmed at picking just one and wouldn’t even know where to start. I guess that’s why I didn’t bother trying the Healing Codes.
The testimonials in the books detail people experiencing miraculous healings after using the Healing Code. I just need to think about it more and decide if I want to invest my time and energy into yet another treatment. I’d be curious to hear if any of you have tried it out and what the results were for you. If you have, leave me a comment and let me know! ...more
