I absolutely love Overwatch. It is one of the first video games that I have truly been invested in, and not just in the game play but the lore surrounding it as well. So when I saw The Art Of Overwatch was to be released, I just could not resist it.

All of the artwork within this book was absolutely incredible. I loved seeing the creation process behind the game, from initial ideas and concepts to the final product the game became. Some of these ideas received considerable alteration along the I absolutely love Overwatch. Some of these ideas received considerable alteration along the way and it was interesting to see the reasons behind these changes. I have very little idea of what actually goes into making a video game, so it was fascinating to see some of this highlighted within this book. The unique heroes are what really makes this game stand out in my opinion, so seeing their design process was amazing. I particularly loved the artwork for some of the character skins, as well as the reasons why those specific ones were chosen. When I am playing Overwatch, I do not spend a great deal of time paying attention to all the details in the maps but seeing them highlighted in this book has definitely made me want to look for them every time I play from now on.

Overall, I absolutely loved this! Overwatch is easily one of my favourite video games ever. I love the game itself as well as the lore and story that goes with it. If you are a fan of Overwatch, then I would definitely recommend giving this a read.
