An introduction to what makes a bird a bird for kids, and a look at various birds all over the world with chapters that focus on different methods of nest building, mobility, eating habits, etc.

These little kids first big books are great for curious kids and can grow with the child. At first they'll just be captivated by the eye-catching photos, but as they grow older they can explore all the info boxes, soak in the text, enjoy the activities at the end of each chapter, or even do the suggested An introduction to what makes a bird a bird for kids, and a look at various birds all over the world with chapters that focus on different methods of nest building, mobility, eating habits, etc.

Awesome pictures. Lots of information but also can skim if desired. I learned stuff from this book and enjoyed reading it with my daughter
