Endometriosis info

I am in the process of being diagnosed and was looking for detailed info on the entire process. This book has a lot of knowledge and information in it, but my issue with it is I don't appreciate a book that says for more info on this or that buy our other book. I have an appointment with a specialist in a week and had time to get through one book not 2 so I picked the newer one thinking it would be most up-to-date and shield it had a lot of helpful info I also felt it lacked Endometriosis info

I was looking for information about how to manage my pain, and got pretty much nothing. This book is great if you want to learn about the science of endometriosis, but it's far from the complete reference on managing your health. In fact, you won't be able to use some of the medical information (though it can be interesting--or depressing--to know what your immune system is up to). The author goes on and on about how women need to get diagnosed early so they can manage and prevent pain, but only I was looking for information about how to manage my pain, and got pretty much nothing. This book is great if you want to learn about the science of endometriosis, but it's far from the complete reference on managing your health. In fact, you won't be able to use some of the medical information (though it can be interesting--or depressing--to know what your immune system is up to). The author goes on and on about how women need to get diagnosed early so they can manage and prevent pain, but only a few treatments are covered in-depth. It's a good message, but I was hoping the book would have some more advice for someone who is already deep into the experience. ...more
