This book contains old information. First EMT B is an old certification, it is now EMT with better training. They recommend Pressure point as the second place to go for stopping bleeding. Now you go dirctly to TQ because we know what caused the "Life or Limb" phrase. The old TQs damaged tissue because they were too narrow and applied pressure over a narrow band of tissue that caused irepperable tissue damage and required Amputation. I personally thought this book was a huge help for the EMT test. The questions range from easy to hard. I also love how the questions were blended so it wasn't just one subject at a time. It is a small book which is easy to bring where ever you go and take a few minutes here and there to study. I have recommend this book to others who took this test and will continue to recommend it!

This book was very helpful in preparing for the NREMT test. The questions are well written and easy to understand. If you do make a mistake, the correct answer is on the back of each page along with an explanation.
