This book is so wonderful, I can't stand it.

I've loved cats all my life, had cats all my life. Indoor/Outdoor, every fluffy cat that crossed my path had to be mine. But Jackson Galaxy taught me more in the four years I've known about his existence than I'd learned in 30+ years of first hand experience.

I'm not handy in any way, shape, or form, but this book has me ready to run to Home Depot and start buying wood and rope and PVC pipe. I'm ready to enclose my back patio, and completely rearrange This book is so wonderful, I can't stand it.

I want cat trees and kitty stripper poles (seriously, that's what it looks like) and cat shelves on every window.

I will own this book. Not just "want to", I will. I love that, along with "behind the scenes" from My Cat From Hell, you get every day humans who did the work to make their cats as comfortable as possible. So many fantastic ideas, so many beautiful pictures.

I want it all. And I clearly need three more cats. At least. ...more

If I could see, I would be building these projects for my cats right now.
I love the ideas in this book, making your space aesthetically pleasing for you, functional for your cats, and a happy place for the whole family.
I thought I was a good cat caregiver, but this makes me realize I need to step up my game, because I can do so much more!
Cat superhighways, bridges, cocoons, hammocks, scratching posts, feeding stations, all above a human's head!

Can't wait!

I've wanted to add some catification projects to the living room for a while now and this was just the inspiration I needed! Now if only my fiance was as excited about clarification as I am...

Really enjoyed reading this. Especially liked the pictures and descriptions of what other people have done for their cats. However, I think the book is overpriced. For $17, I expect twice as much content as this book contained.

Loved this! Great examples, instructions, and ideas. And I learned a thing or two, too! I was really surprised at how easy/inexpensive some of the ideas are, and this book has definitely inspired me to do some catification for my princess. A must read for cat owners!

Interesting ideas, some very feasible. Others? Um, not so much. I don't really like the idea of bringing dead tree limbs into my house. And I don't have a patio I can "catify".

This book is full of creative and awesome ideas to make your home a happy and inviting environment for your cats, and you. Cool ideas, simple directions with pictures and most are pretty cheap to do. People have come up with and shared some great ideas, and have put a lot of thought into them.

This book really helps you find out what your individual cat needs from its environment. After reading it and watching my cat I came up with several inexpensive ideas to make the apartment more pleasant for her. And the pictures are really fun to dream over!

The case histories were interesting, but I was disappointed at the general lack of actual plans for constructing the pieces. Guess it's meant to be more of an ideas book.

I’ll be honest, I had no idea this was by a reality TV person; had I known, I probably would have skipped the book. That being said, I loved the book! Lots of great ideas.

Loved the ideas and I can picture my cats on things like this and it would be awesome in my house, but some of the ideas are a little too advanced for my ability. I loved dreaming of it though!

Lots of great ideas to make a happy home for your cats. I'm looking forward to implementing some of the changes to see how my cats respond. This book has lots of pictures, is set out nicely and makes you feel inspired.

I really enjoyed the ideas, it can be inspirational. Also enjoyed the explanation / ideas behind the projects.
The only downside to me, is that despite it stating that it's for every budget, I feel one does need quite some money to execute them. Plus room; I missed projects for really small houses.

After reading the other book by Jackson, I thought I would give this one a shot. So glad I did. This book has a lot of fun information and ideas to make your home very cat-friendly. Litterbox hiding ideas, ways to make ramps and shelves for playing. Lots of great info and easy to follow instructions. Plenty of great photos.

Lots of inspiration and explanations about why design choices were made. There were a few how-to sections that talked about the materials and techniques; I was really hoping for more of that technical information. For example, one setup uses a specific IKEA shelf, but according to the specs from IKEA that shelf is only rated for 7 pounds. Is it really safe? How did they decide it was sturdy enough?

Just as expected, this is a great guide for getting to know your cat and making your home more cat friendly. There are examples of catification projects shown from past episodes of My Cat from Hell as well as ones submitted by fans. Even a few simple changes to their environment can make huge changes in their happiness. Anyone sharing their home with a cat (and especially anyone with more than one!) could benefit from the information in Jackson's books. I've been recommending them to those Just as expected, this is a great guide for getting to know your cat and making your home more cat friendly. There are examples of catification projects shown from past episodes of My Cat from Hell as well as ones submitted by fans. Even a few simple changes to their environment can make huge changes in their happiness. Anyone sharing their home with a cat (and especially anyone with more than one!) could benefit from the information in Jackson's books. I've been recommending them to those adopting cats when I volunteer at my local shelter. I wish I'd had this information years ago! This is a great idea for a book, and I'm glad that Jackson Galaxy and Kate Benjamin put it together. (I know there's a sequel, Catify to Satisfy, and am looking forward to reading that too.) Most of the examples in this book are way out of my price range or ability range (and really only work for homeowners), but there are a couple of ideas in the book that I think are easy enough and appropriate for my apartment. And more importantly, reading this book got me thinking about my cat's behavior This is a great idea for a book, and I'm glad that Jackson Galaxy and Kate Benjamin put it together. (I know there's a sequel, Catify to Satisfy, and am looking forward to reading that too.) Most of the examples in this book are way out of my price range or ability range (and really only work for homeowners), but there are a couple of ideas in the book that I think are easy enough and appropriate for my apartment. And more importantly, reading this book got me thinking about my cat's behavior and how I can better meet her needs. Galaxy and Benjamin want this book to spark the reader's imagination rather than pressuring exact copy-cats, and it certainly did that for me! ...more
